Lathaniel Kirts
Lathaniel Kirts is an innovative pastor and community leader hailing from Norfolk, Va. Pastor Lathaniel is a proud alumnus of Morehouse College where he studied Political Science. Upon graduation from Morehouse, Kirts graduated from the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia. Lathaniel later completed his Master's in Divinity at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. Lathaniel's experience and passion for faith, families, and government has prepared him to be a 21st century preacher with a heart for social justice.
Lathaniel is the proud husband of 10 years to Mar’keta Kirts, his partner in ministry and life. Together they have two children, Legend and Kai Rose. Lathaniel loves traveling, spending time with his family and watching Dallas Cowboys football.
Mar’keta Kirts
Mar’keta Kirts is an unique gift to the body of Christ and a proud native of Newport News, VA. Mar'keta seeks to please God in every area of her life. Her love for God is shown through how she loves the people of God. She currently serves on the Pastoral Team alongside her husband at Pray First Mission Ministries and is co-founder of The REIGN Network.
With a passion for entrepreneurial endeavors, Mar'keta Kirts is also a licensed real estate agent within the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mar’keta completed her undergraduate degree at Norfolk State University, with a degree in Sociology and minor in Psychology. She studied at Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University and obtained a Master of Divinity degree.
Mar’keta has sat on several nonprofit boards including: Habitat for Humanity, An Achievable Dream and YWCA and also has worked for a non-profit as a Community Social Worker. She has been active in leading prayer lines, bible studies and teaching and preaching God’s word. Mar’keta has a heart to see people walk in the fullness of God. Mar'keta is truly a prophet, counselor and lover of humanity.
